TERMS OF SALE
Conditions valid from June 1, 2020.
These conditions govern all sales concluded remotely on the Boutique of the French Federation Via Francigena - FFVF accessible on the site: https://ffvf.fr/boutique
No order on the Boutique can be placed without your acceptance of these General Conditions of Sale which you can read at any time when browsing the site, they appear at the bottom of the page.
The effective acceptance of the General Conditions of Sale is achieved by clicking on the box provided for this purpose when confirming your basket.
Order process
The products are divided into 3 tabs "FFVF PRODUCTS", "MEMBERSHIP RELATED PRODUCTS", "OTHER PRODUCTS", the "HOME" tab allows you to return to the main page.
To order the desired product, enter the product sheet by clicking on the photo to obtain a detailed information page, the price and the conditions for the product. If your choice is confirmed, click on "ADD TO CART".
Certain products must be personalized, such as the Pilgrim's notebook (or credenziale). The pilgrim associations never issue a blank credenziale, but always established with the contact details of the applicant, and after the latter has become aware of the pilgrim's engagement, and that he accepts the conditions. The F.F.V.F. and its member associations are no exception to the rule. This is why you will be asked to complete a questionnaire with the information necessary to personalize your purchase and to approve a charter. Fill out this questionnaire very carefully to avoid mistakes.
Please note that the order of several credenziales is possible (this can be useful if for example you plan to travel in a group). In this case, each credenziale will be established in the name of a specific holder, and you must therefore provide the contact details of each applicant.
Prices and delivery costs
The prices are indicated in Euro, all taxes included. Shipping and handling costs are shown separately. The customer is informed of the total cost before validation of his order.
Any order, whatever its origin, is invoiced and payable in euros.
Delivery delay
The customer is responsible for the correct information of his delivery address. Packages are generally delivered to the carrier within 48 working hours after receipt of your payment. The standard shipping method is the postal service, green letter, with delivery without signature. The delivery times for the Metropolis are based on the processing by the postal services or other carriers. International and DOM-TOM delivery times are dependent on processing by local postal services, or other carriers, orders being shipped at the rate corresponding to air transport.
In the event of delay due to the Post office, or other carriers, our responsibility could not be committed.
The transfer of ownership of the ordered products occurs upon receipt of the products and after full payment.
Payment
Payments are managed by the Prestashop-Checkout-Paypal module. All transactions with PayPal, fully secure with TLS connection and encrypted key identification, follow the security standards for card payment data.
Several payment methods are available: by check, bank transfer or bank card. This last mode is largely to be preferred because of its simplicity and speed which allows faster delivery of purchased products.
Guarantees and withdrawal periods
The customer benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects as well as the legal guarantee of conformity under the conditions of article 1641 of the civil code.
In the event of non-compliance with the order, the FFVF undertakes: either to exchange the non-compliant item, or to reimburse the amount of the order, excluding shipping costs.
For personalized products (credenziale for example) this guarantee does not apply in the event that due to the customer, erroneous information would have been communicated to the Boutique for the personalization of the product.
In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code, the customer who orders or subscribes a product remotely has the option of exercising their right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days which begins on the day of receipt of the product. In this case after prior agreement, the products must be returned to the address of the shop, the return costs are in this case borne by the Customer. The FFVF will reimburse the customer for the payment made during the purchase, not including the shipping costs, within 14 days from the date of receipt of the products.
Intellectual property rights
The products sold on the Boutique are creations of the FFVF, its Affiliates or its partners. They were carried out for the benefit of pilgrims to facilitate the pilgrimage on the Via Francigena or on its connecting routes. The customer by purchasing these products agrees to make personal use of them, any reproduction is prohibited without the express written permission of the FFVF, its Affiliates or its Partners.

All orders are sent by email to the address provided by the customer, including a copy of the order form and a copy of these General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
